Pleasantly Surprised
Well, this product surprised me! I heard, read and saw many excellent reviews, but I didn’t want to put my hopes so high since I’ve learned in this natural hair journey that one thing can work for one person but for another. I used this with Uncle Funky’s Curly Magic, and I used it the way Abena instructed in her videos and on the label (which I find to be VERY important). The results??? Chef’s Kiss! I did use a pray leave-in with the combo and it all just gel’d together. My hair stood the humidity here in Toronto, and stayed defined for 7 days. I could have pushed it to 10 I’m sure. And my curls were soft. Now they did have a cast, but not crunchy hard, which is what I like. So as the days went on, the cast softened and it was just beautiful. I am so happy to have finally tried this product! Definitely my staple now. So glad this brand came to Canada!
